As far as the facts & features in both the cars go, the Sumo Grande definitely falls short in front of the Scorpio m-Hawk. 

But where the Sumo could score could be its new 2.2L VTT DiCOR engine which delivers awesome performance & mileage both (as seen in the new Tata Safari). 

The 2.2 dicor is by far the best engine around,I don't think anyone else could compare . 

But on a car as big in size as the Sumo Grande or the Scorpio a host of comfort features like the one the Scorpio m-Hawk VLX is offering, it for sure lures the consumer to go in for it.

 I am looking forward to Mahindra's introduction to North America next year and may buy their Pik Up.

Can anyone tell me if

a) the mHawk is an interference engine?

b) there is a timing belt? 

If it had a timing chain and a non-interference design it would be nearly irrestistable.
