What does the future have in store for Fiat?

As we all know, Fiat hasn't been one of the most loved car brands in India recently. But with a whole new portfolio of cars like the Linea, Grande Punto, Bravo & the 500 - all lined up to be launched in 2008 & even the Tata-Fiat joint venture, do you think that things could change for Fiat?

The new line up of cars sure looks impressive & competitive enough to shake up their rivals, but its really about the acceptance of the brand as such. Fiat has aggressive marketing plans for India (look at the new Fiat logo for starters). And expect the prices to be as competitive as ever.

Even the Palio Diesel is all set to hit the Indian roads this month with the same 1.3L multijet engine found in the Swift (if you didnt know Maruti procured this engine from Fiat in the first place).

This Italian manufacturer which even owns the world's most loved sports car brand, the Ferrari, is now all set to paint the town red.

    Pour in your thoughts people!!

Not to forget that Fiat is bringing Alfa Romeo to India very soon. This could also give a huge boost to their current brand image in India.
