    Now REVA-i has entered in Delhi

    Maini group has launched India’s first electric car in the capital on wednesday, providing delhites an environmently friendly, economical mode of transport. In a Government first of sorts, the Delhi Govt. has given tax exemptions to the car which has brought down its price from a whopping 4 lakhs to a much more manageable 2.99 lakhs. The base version of the car starts at 2.99 lakhs on-road while the top end model with optional extra costs 3.78 lakhs on-road. The incentives from the government include a 15 percent subsidy on the base price of the vehicle, 12.5 percent exemption on the value added tax (VAT) and refund of road tax and registeration charges.
