I am planning to buy a new car for my dad next month.i own a ford endeavor and am very happy with the performance of the car but my dad wants a sedan car my budget is around 7 to 8 lacs. I'm very confused about which car to go for. can anyone help me with this.

There are a plenty of options available for you if you want to buy a sedan in the range of 7-8 Lakh. The price band encloses Chevrolet Aveo, Chevrolet Optra SRV, Ford new Fiesta (which has just been supplied with some path-breaking and distinct features and changes that would demonstrate your class in itself.), Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Mitsubishi Lancer, Tata Indigo XL (which has also been nick named by tatas their lounge).

So the cars which have been brought to the fore should contain one which you're probably looking for.

its great Rohan, You mentioned that you already own a car from the ford family, I think for a change you should go in for the maruti , according to me the sx4 would be better.

Its great car but i think sx4 gives low mileage as compared to  other car in this segment. 

For a sedan with a budget like 7 - 8 lac i guess the ford fiesta will be value for money.

 I saw ford fiesta 1.6s in purple , it looks awesome ,but kind of confused about its mileage. it gives better mileage then sx4?

 well i think the new  Ford fiesta 1.6s gives 10-11 in city and 14-15 in highway

could you let me know about the DTE feature? 

Ford fiesta 1.6s included DTE ( Distance to Empty ) Feature. It shows how many kms you can drive with the fuel in the tank.

 Its a great feature!!
