Senior Developer (.NET)
We’re looking for Developers who are passionate about building high-performance, large-scale, highly available transactional systems. The candidate should have in-depth experience and understanding of database design and implementation as well as experience shipping high-quality C#/VB.Net/C++ code.
Responsibilities/Role Description
- Develop software to specification, using some or all of the following technologies: ASP.Net / VB.Net / C#, SQL Server etc.
- Participate or lead software modeling for Data Modeling, Data Management / Migration Planning & Software Architecture utilizing UML.
- Participate in requirements gathering, analysis and documentation.
- Quality assurance including load testing.
- Effort estimation for projects.
Desired Profile/Skills
You should have significant experience with T-SQL, replication, DTS and advanced SQL Server functionality to implement highly performing and large-scale distributed and partitioned databases. Must have excellent performance analysis skills, including techniques for analyzing database applications, determining bottlenecks in database code, experience in understanding SQL Server query plans and estimates, optimizing queries by looking at their execution plans, tuning indexes, tuning SP's, leveraging horizontal and vertical partitioning.
- A Bachelor's degree, or higher, in Computer Science, or related discipline with at least 70% marks in class XII.
- Must have a minimum 3+ years of project experience developing 3 to 4 tier web applications using C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, XML and XSLT.
- Experience with UML/Rational Rose/Design Patterns.
- Expertise in tuning and administering high traffic/high availability websites & web based applications.
- The ideal candidate would be Microsoft certified (MCSD/MCAD/MCDBA).
