C K Birla group's Hindustan Motors, in joint venture with Japan’s Mitsubishi Motors, has big plans for India. It is planning to launch one model every six months as part of their growth plan. There’s good news for SUV lovers. Mitsubishi has announced its plans to manufacture Outlander in India and not bring it in as knocked-down-units or completely-built-units. The Outlander will be manufactured by Mitsubishi – Hindustan Motors’ JV, which also produces Lancer.
