M&M posts 84% rise in tractor exports in March
Achieves significant milestone - Over 13 lakh tractors sold till date

Mahindra & Mahindra’s Farm Equipment sector, a part of the US $6 billion Mahindra Group with a growing global presence, saw a significant 84% rise in tractor exports. In March ’08, the company crossed the significant milestone of having sold 13 lakh tractors till date.
Exports for the month of March F08 stood at 1387 as against 752 in the corresponding period last year. The domestic sales volume for the month stood at 7016, against 7053 in the corresponding period last year.
The company posted cumulative (April ‘07 – March ‘08) sales volumes of 98,710 tractors in F08 including exports as against 1,02529 in F07 in the same period last year.
