SkodaIndia sales up 81.4 % in April 2008

SkodaIndia, a fully owned subsidiary of SkodaAuto a.s. Czech Republic (Volkswagen Group), one of the fastest growing car manufacturers in Europe, today announced that the company has achieved sales of 1814 units in April 2008. With this figure SkodaIndia registered 81.4 % growth in sales as compared to 1000 units sold in April 2007.
The sales figure includes 834 units of India’s first Super hatch Skoda Fabia.
