Mahindra’s Auto Sector sells 19211 vehicles (Domestic + Exports) in August 2008

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.), a part of the US $6.7 billion Mahindra Group, announced its August 2008 automotive sales figures.
The company sold a total of 19211 vehicles (Domestic + Exports) in August 2008, as against
18269 vehicles (Domestic + Exports) sold in August 2007.
The company exported 890 units in August 2008, as against 831 units exported in August 2007.
M&M’s domestic volumes for the month of August 2008 stand at 18321 units, as against 17438 units in August 2007.
M&M’s domestic YTD volumes for the month of August 2008 stand at 92490 units, as against
82328 units in the same period last year.
