SkodaIndia registers 3.22% growth in 2007

SkodaIndia, a fully owned subsidiary of SkodaAuto a.s. Czech Republic (Volkswagen Group), one of the fastest growing car manufacturers in Europe, today announced that the company achieved sales of 12596 units in the year 2007. With this figure SkodaIndia registered 3.22% growth in sales as compared to 12202 units sold in 2006.
The sales figure includes 661 units of the flagship model SkodaSuperb.
The company announced the launch of their new exclusive website www.fabiafeelspecial.com, an information tool for providing detailed information on SkodaFabia, the first super hatch of the country.SkodaFabia will be launched in the Indian market on 9th January at the Auto Expo ‘08.
Sharing his views on the website, a senior official from SkodaIndia said, “Fabia is the most appreciated product by our customers worldwide. While launching it in India we are taking special efforts to make the information on the much-loved car more accessible to our esteemed customers”.
