SkodaIndia buoyed by 83.4% growth in net sales

SkodaIndia, a fully owned subsidiary of SkodaAuto a.s. Czech Republic (Volkswagen Group), one of the fastest growing car manufacturers in Europe, has consolidated its leadership in the automotive segment substantially in July with a growth of 83.4 % in sales as compared to 845 units sold in July 2007. It has achieved sales of 1550 units in July 2008.

The sales figure includes 602 units of India?s first Super hatch SkodaFabia.
