Re-birth of the Octavia

If you know your auto history right, and more importantly, if you are a Skoda fan, then you can most definitely identify the original Octavia as one of the best Sedans ever to come from the Skoda stable. We are still puzzled as to why the name was ever dropped form such a strong brand name like Octavia, and we were even more amazed when the ‘Laura’ name came up with its not so funny jokes and all. Well there is some good news as we now have word that Skoda India will bring back the Octavia brand name in 2013. The Laura name will altogether be dropped and the new Octavia car will also be bigger in size than the Laura. Now with a BS-IV engine the Octavia will make a huge comeback, and this we guarantee. The specs of the car have not been released, but at the Geneva Motor Show we will have all the details. Stay tuned.
