Hyundai i20 facelift coming to India
At the 82nd Geneva Motor Show Hyundai showcased their latest i20 in a new avatar. The facelifted i20 will undoubtedly make its way to India very soon and so it was of keen interest to us when we saw it in Geneva. Keeping design hues in line with Hyundai’s fluidic design concept, the new i20 will be curvier and sexier. The headlights have become thinner and the front grille is hexagonal, while the front bumper is completely new. The rear has also been changed with restyled tail lights and a new bumper. The most important change comes in the form of the engine as the i20 will now comes with a brand new 1.1 litre 3-cylinder diesel engine that can produce a very healthy 75bhp. It will also emit much less CO2, but whether this engine makes it to India is uncertain. But we do know for sure that by the end of this year the new i20 will definitely be in India.
