The Tavera has been around in India for a long time now, all the way since 2004, which makes it the first car that GM India brought into the country. The Tavera is a higher segment MPV when compared to the Enjoy and it competes with the Nissan Evalia and the Toyota Innova. The car is only available with a 2.5 litre engine.
The Tavera tends to have features that are more a kin to an SUV. The front section has a long bonnet and a strong front grille with rectangular headlights. The entire body of the car features a dual colour with beige plastic around the under and side body. The A pillars are angled a lot but the B and C pillars are straight and give a boxy look to the design of the car. The rear section is very simple and doesn’t stand out much. overall the Tavera is not the best looking MPV and it does look a little out dated, compared to others.
