The Ford EcoSport set the Indian automotive world on fire. The car was developed by an international team of experts from developing countries and came out with a crossover car that was perfect for Indian conditions. It is the first of its kind vehicle and looks quite good. It comes with both petrol and diesel options as well as an automatic version. There is no real competition for the EcoSport in India and its closest competitor will be the Renault Duster.
The EcoSport looks quite brilliant. I have no complains about the way it has been designed. Essentially it looks like a hatchback that has been raised up high off the ground with a spare wheel on the rear boot to make it look more muscular and more like an SUV. It’s got curves, nice wheel arches and it seems like its wide enough. The length of the car has been kept below 4 metres, and its ground clearance is a very impressive 200mm. there is a nice big front grille and there are some nice looking alloy wheels as well. It might just sell because of the way it looks.
