The British maker of luxury and sports cars can trace its root back to 1922 after it was created by two motorcycle enthusiasts. Jaguar soon began taking part in motorsport with great success which helped it pick up sales. After the Second world War the company is in a crisis and has changed ownerhip many times. It was bought by Ford in 1989 and subsequently was bought by Indian manufacturer Tata in 2008 along with Land Rover to form the Jaguar Land Rover Group, but the company was only officially launched in India in 2009.
Jaguar India sells its full range of global luxury sedans and sports vehicles through a select dealer network across the country. However, Jaguar is known to be one of the most desired luxury cars by Indians which is why it has been relatively successful. Unfortunately, after sales services are limited and very costly in addition to the scarcity of parts, which can be a hindrance to a few. Nonetheless this legendary manufacturer provides some of the most exciting and powerful cars in history.
