Initially started out as a joint venture program between Mahindra and Renault, the Logan has been renamed the Verito – the only sedan from the Mahindra stable. The car still remains very much the same as the Logan, with a flawed design, moderate engine and poor interiors. The engines used are still the Renault 1.5 DCi Diesel and the1.4 MPFI petrol. The Verito now only features the Mahindra logo, redesigned fog lamps, roof rails and side rub strips to give it a more distinctive touch. The Verito
is not up to the standards in its segment with many more companies brining in better choices.
