Hatchback, Manual, 998 cc, Petrol, 20.5 kmpl
Ex-Showroom Price (Delhi)
The Wagon R was one of the first hatch-back vehicles in India that gave you acres of space. its overall exterior design has been altered very little to keep its USP of space and comfort on top of the list. While the design is not the most attractive, the practicality and comfort the car offers at its price range is something that no other competitor can compete with. The Wagon R now comes with more features and of course a better engine in the form of the K Series. There are three trim levels and there is also a CNG version available.
While the Wagon R is not the most appealing in terms of its design, the exterior remains highly practical. There is however a newly designed front bumper that looks decent, and the front grille also gets elements of chrome to make it look more appealing, and there are also sporty fog lamps on the bumper as well. She same boxy shape has stayed on along with the straight and bland lines at the rear and mid section.

3-Feb-2014 and my new Wagon R arrived in silver colour. Highly spacious to accommodate family of four and loaded with features amazing to discover in such a price. Blue eyed tall boy rightly said as it is tall and comfortable. With an average of 18 KMPL it just rocked my world in cities.. and smooth to handle joystick(steering) and well calibrated gear knob makes the perfect match of power and results.. driving experience of few kilometers makes the Wagon R top of all with light and zipping drive without any tensions or wrinkle in mind. Only I miss is remote control of the music system, but that will be demanding side of mine. Amazingly surprised with its turning radius...and traffic situation handling ease.. the wide view and steering makes it butter to cut every corner and find tiny gaps to escape traffics. Overall I loved my beauty with brains and ll love to be called as proud owner of the same...

I am using this car for last 8 years. Amazing car! I am riding it without any trouble. What I do is every year I am seriously do the servicing from Maruti authorized service center. I had a very bed experience earlier with local servicing center. This will cost you some extra money but, the car will run throughout the year nicely. WagaonR LD model is good, I have not tested the new models yet, but I heard that new models are also good. I like this car also because there are lots of leg space, luggage spaces. Like it, Love it.

WagonR is overall a nice car for a middle class family. It just requires a general maintenance as after every 10,000 KM. The only drawback is being a CNG car I looses the luggage space - as the height of the car is more, it is not very comfortable driving on highways. For a city drive its really good...

A car for all generation. Best for tall guys. Best for professional executive. Best for old age person/person with back-pain etc. This is because of its sitting comfort. Good to drive in busy street and National Highways. Re-sale value is also good. If we view this car overall in mileage, features, comfort, resale value, performance and riding, it scores better than any car of its segment and above all Maruti-Suzuki brand. Thanks you!!!

Really good car in performance and mileage giving around 18 km/pl but smoothy gear box, design-exterior and interior is not so attractive. Top speed is 140 km/h I have run around 27,000 kms. Best for city use but not reliable for highways.

I am using Wagon-R for almost 3 years now. Fuel efficiency is good if its run without AC but with AC fuel efficiency is not too good. Big difference in the efficiency if run on AC. Design and interiors are OK. Sometimes get problem with the gear box while putting it in the reverse gear.

I never got in to trouble with Wagon R. The performance of this car is really WOW! I got the 1st generation Wagon R, The Suzuki engines are really marvelous! 1st 5 years there was no engine sound, if you sit inside, means the vibration is literally zero! So I am really baised on Maruti, brand. Maruti produces great cars for middle class.

If you are looking for a good car in the price range Rs. 3.5 L to Rs. 4.0 L, Maruti WagonR is a good car to consider. I am using it for last 3 years and I have no issues with this car except the Back Gear switching is not smooth. It needs improvement. May be it has improved in the Maruti New WagonR 2010. Maruti service centers are located nearly everywhere in India. Also, the after sales service is very good from Maruti Authorized Service Centers. The accidental claims settlement process is also very smooth and fast. Maruti WagonR spare part are also not too expensive. Overall a good car to have. I will sure recommend this car to my family and friends.
