Maruti Suzuki India Limited is a subsidiary company of Japanese automobile and motorcycle manufacturer Suzuki. The company offers a complete range of cars across all segments and is one of the largest producers of cars in India with the largest market share significantly higher than all other companies. It was started in 1992 as a JV between Maruti Udyog and Suzuki.
It was the first company in India to mass-produce and sell more than a million cars and it is also largely credited for having brought in an automobile revolution to India. It created legendary cars such as the Maruti 800 which, Ritz, Swift and Esteem. Maruti Suzuki is known to be a reliable manufacturer that makes quality products at the most competitive prices, which is why it has managed to do so well in the Indian market. Not to mention they have the largest dealer network and the most effective after sales service centres, which make it the No. 1 manufacturer with the most sought after products in the country.
