The Tata Sumo has undergone vast design changes over the years and has found a new avatar in the form of the Sumo Grande MKII. The car is more of an MPV rather than a SUV and although the car is large in size it still lacks any form of aesthetic design what so ever. The interiors are very spacious but once again Tata needs to work on fit and finish. The Sumo has an impressive ground clearance of 180mm which also make it a suitable off-roader, but then again its suspension can sue some work. The engine block comes in the form of a 2179cc diesel unit mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and capable of producing 116bhp and does produce a healthy torque figure of 250Nm. Overall the Sumo Grande is a capable car.
