Because Tata has taken on some knowledge partners and acquired strong companies such as Jaguar Land Rover, their own manufacturing and engineering prowess has been drastically improved and has allowed them to shell out some better products for the Indian market. One such product heading our way will be the Indicruz. Based on the Xover concept car and using the existing Safari platform, the Indicruz is likely to be a stretched van design MPV that will have features such as traction control, ABS, climate control, navigation system and personalized airbags for the driver and passengers. A power unit has not been disclosed but the car will likely house the 2.2 litre Dicor engine and this 7-seater will compete directly with the Toyota Innova.
