Jaguar
Jaguar India, Luxury car company, Jaguar, was the brainchild of William Lyons, whose original plan was to build motorcycle sidecars. Established in the year 1935, the company soon became known for its sleek, beautiful cars that served with equal ease as luxury saloons and super-fast racing cars. Some of its most remarkable models are housed in the Jaguar Heritage Museum in Coventry. The Jaguar brand was taken over by Tata Motors in the beginning of 2008.
