Maybach
DaimlerChrysler India Private Ltd., German luxury car maker Maybach, now owned by Daimler AG, was founded in the year 1909 by Wilhelm Maybach. It started out as a company that developed diesel and gas engines, and ventured into automobile manufacturing in 1919. Maybach was revived as a brand by Mercedes-Benz in the early 2000s with the launch of a new luxury model – the Maybach 57.
