Mitsubishi
Mitsubishi, Mitsubishi’s history goes back to the year 1870, when its parent company - the Tsukumo Shokai Shipping Company, was founded. It was established as an independent auto company in 1970. Initially limiting itself to making commercial vehicles and scooters, Mitsubishi made its first mass market saloon, the Mitsubishi 500, in the early 1960s. It entered India in 1998, and operates here in collaboration with Hindustan Motors.
