Ltd., Skoda’s association with India began with the advent of the new millennium on November 16, 2001 when SkodaAuto invested in a plant in Shendra, on the outskirts of Aurangabad, making it the company’s only manufacturing facility outside Europe. This plant is spread across 300,000 square meters and the facility is regarded as one of the best engine assembly plants in Asia.
