The Volkswagen brand sold 5,789 vehicles in the month of January 2012 as compared to 5,601 vehicles sold in January 2011.
The Volkswagen carlines have been showing a steady growth last year despite the market downturn. The Polo and the Vento sold 5402 units contributing to major percentage of sales while the Jetta and the Passat sold 387 units.
