German car giant Volkswagen will also bring in their latest model of their SUV – the 2012 Touareg. The new Touareg is based on a whole new platform than its previous models and will feature a 3.0 litre diesel engine producing 240bhp and a massive torque figure of 550Nm. The engine will also be mated to a newly developed 8 speed tiptronic automatic transmission. The new SUV from VW will feature more sporty looks with sharper lines and will cost around Rs 55 lakh.
