The Maruti Ertiga is Maruti Suzuki India’s answer to the growing MPV segment. It competes directly with the Toyota Innova and the Mahindra Xylo. The price of the Ertiga is very competitive and it offers some great features. Both diesel and petrol engines are made by Suzuki so you automatically know they are well refined, fuel efficient and hassle free. The overall comfort levels are very good because of the sheer size of the car, although the overall quality of the seats and parts used could be much better. The car lacks power and so it does not perform quite as well as the market leading Toyota Innova, however it costs much less and is a great value for money option. You can comfortable fit in your whole family and have enough space for luggage. The Ertiga is specifically targeted towards the middle class families who are always on the go, and it is a great car if you plan to travel on long road trips as well.

The WR-V is a crossover vehicle from the Japanese car maker. The WR-V is based on the Jazz platform and certainly holds resemblance to it, but it’s longer, wider, higher and has a longer wheelbase. The WR-V comes with petrol and diesel variants and it will compete against the Maruti-Suzuki Brezza.

The Vitara Brezza is Maruti Suzuki’s answer to the ever so popular compact SUV market in India. The Brezza uses the Fiat-sourced 4-cylinder, 1.3-litre turbo-diesel engine that produces 89bhp and a good torque output of 200Nm. It also comes with a 5-speed manual transmission. The engine seems very well refined and works well with the transmission for a good mid-range.
