UK-based luxury car company, Bentley, launched the Continental Supersports in India this month. Priced at Rs 2.25 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi), the two-seater can run on both petrol and bio-fuel. Bentley had earlier said that it would launch two new models in India this year. Exclusive Motors Private Limited Managing Director, Satya Bagla, said that the new Supersports was sure to excite speed lovers in the country, being the fastest and most powerful Bentley so far.
The car has been named after the original ‘Supersports’ coupe introduced by Bentley in 1925. The company assembles all its cars at its plant in Crewe, UK. In March 2010, it had introduced the Mulsanne in India, priced at Rs 2.90 crore.
