The Chevrolet Camaro has been on display at the last 2 editions of the Delhi Auto Expo, so it’s only a matter of time before the American manufacturer brings this legendary muscle car to India, albeit they can crank out a right-hand drive version fast enough. Apparently the company has already laid down plans to develop right-hand drive versions of the Camaro, so we will most probably be seeing these cars here very soon. There are many different variants of the Camaro, but if its India dream is to be realized, we get the SS or the ZL1 variant. The SS is stocked with an advanced 3.6L direct-injected V-6 creating 305bhp, and it also has a performance version with a 6.2 litre V8 engine with 426bhp on the manual transmission. The ZL1 is a newer variant and also the most powerful Camaro ever. It is fitted with 6.2 litre supercharged engine that can pump out over 550bhp – now that is some serious power. If the ZL1 were to come to India, you can expect the car to come the CBU way and be priced somewhere around Rs 50 lakh.
