The Ford Figo made headlines across the country when it was launched in 2011. It was specifically designed by the American manufacturer for developing markets, such as India, and the model is based on one of their largely successful hatchbacks in the US. The Figo shook the entry-level hatchback segment with its highly competitive pricing and it offers customers the choice of both diesel and petrol hatches in 4 different trims. It now competes with the likes of the Swift, Chevy Sail hatch, Toyota Etios and Hyundai i10.
The Ford Figo is a slightly long hatch at 3795mm, but it is also low in height and wide in its stance giving it a sporty stance. The lines and design implementation is sharp and only the wheel arches get some curves. The Figo looks quite impressive and is a very modern design. The panels are decent and the headlights look good next to the small front grille. The rear taillights are very nice as they extend upwards on the C pillar. It’s also got some nice sized wheels to add to its charm.

Nov.4th 2010 was the day I bought Ford Figo after selling off my Ford Ikon 1.6 ZXI. Next month my car will complete 3 years and I am proud to say that it was a perfect choice that I made 3 years ago. It has made its owner happy always. I enjoy driving my car and really gives me that edge over other cars that I drove during test drives. I only wish Ford service comes up to my expectations whenever I go for service. Transparency and agility, Openness and Customer centric service is expected by me as a loyal customer to Ford since 2000 (Owner of Ford Ikon inclusive). I hope they keep up to my expectations so that they too can benefit incase I plan to go for EcoSport but it all depends on them now.

I get 14 to 15 kms from the day i bought this car on 04.11.2010. recently had been on a trip for 2000 kms and got almost 16 kms with AC...amazing for me. I suggest Ford to add fog lamps in front and add power windows as the back. Kids in India want it. Safety is also a priority but fun overrides in Indian conditions and mentality.

Very nice. I have been driving this car for last 3 months. Two things need to bee improved. 1- Fog Lamps should be there in top model or there should be no space for them 2- The rear windows must be power.

Ford has launched its all new Figo hatchback based on the old Fiesta platform. In this review, we take the car out for a ride and try and find out if the ‘Smart and Smarter’ car is worth the hype surrounding it. What has Ford compromised in this car to bring it at a price so appealing to the masses in India? Does this little hatch take forward the legacy of its predecessors and establish itself as the best ride and handling hatch in India?

I like to buy diesel Ford Figo because of this price compare to other cars . In terms of fuel economy in city will give 15 kml and on highway around 19kml with A/c on, because of its 1.4 liter TDCI engine same in ford fiesta which I have my car and I know car rides brilliantly with good fuel economy, advantage of Figo is good boot space and its spacious with low maintenance costs tan other car of his segment
