The Honda Mobilio is the Japanese car maker’s answer to the growing MPV segment in India. The Toyota Innova has played the winner, and Maruti Suzuki has the very capable Ertigo, but now Honda is offering the Mobilio, which seems to be a great car. The Mobilio is an entirely new platform for Honda and it is available with one petrol engine and one diesel engine. The car also comes in an RS variant that is quite sporty.
The Mobilio is a nicely styled MPV. It has got a long body at 4.4 metres, but it doesn’t look very tall at just 1.6 metres, and this gives it an aerodynamic look, together with the sharp flowing lines. Its got very nice headlamps, and fog lamps, and then the front grille is typical Honda with the long slab of chrome with the logo in the middle. The rear is also very nice with nicely designed tail lamps. The B and C pillars are black instead of the colour of the car and this gives it a good look. The wheels are also 10 spoke alloys that make it look premium. It’s a decent looking car, but it is the best in its segment in terms of looks. The RS version of the Mobilio comes with more chrome, including a sportier chrome grille, LED headlights, sportier alloy wheel design and a tailgate spoiler.
