The B-Class is essentially a larger version of the A-Class and it comes with similar engine variants, but in a different design. The car is best described as a compact sports tourer, but essentially it looks like a swollen hatch. The car was first launched in 2005 but only made its way to India in its second generation guise by late 2012.
The B-Class does look like a cross between a MPV and a hatch. It is a bit larger than the A-Class and quite long at 4.359 metres. The front hood is not very long but is in fact shorter than any other Mercedes vehicle. But the front grille is typical Mercedes as are the alloy rims and wheels. The rear section does look a little boxy with the absence of smooth curves. Its not the most attractive car, but it does look practical and convenient for a tourer, but it could have done with a higher ground clearance.
