Currently the Volvo S90 has the most amount of interior room compared to its rivals, as well as the best quality interiors, which outshine every other car in its segment. The interiors are similar the new-generation of the XC90, as most design and material cues are shared between the two cars. Because Volvo claims that the S90 will mainly be a chauffeur driven car, they have put air suspension in the rear to offer to most comfortable ride quality for the passengers. The front however gets a traditional steel setup. On the road the setup works brilliantly, despite the large 18-inch wheels and the car remains very composed at both low and high speeds, and the ride is absolutely brilliant. There has also been special attention been paid to the NVH levels of the car, and so the S90 feels fantastically refined with low levels of engine noise filtering into the cabin. The engine however is not the most powerful or fun motor and if you do find yourself in the driver’s seat of this car then you probably won’t feel too excited. Steering is light though and in the city is drives just fine.
