Honda Brio User Reviews

Reviewed on Nov 11, 2011

Rated 4.0/5

Exterior Honda tried to give a new exterior design in front of the buyers. The exterior is influenced from European design. Looks from front & side angel show nice in eyes. Side molding / cutting is nice. But Honda gives a total different looks for the buyers which is the back side of the car. The concept is totally new in B segment car. But it is possible because of its small boot open. Overall it’s nice and new attractive exterior. Interior (Features, Space and Comfort) B segment cars have some interior features like more rear large leg space, good / premium quality interior, large boot space compare to A segment cars. But within these features Brio covered good rear leg space and good finished & better quality attractive interior. The boot space is too much short / small which is the draw back of the Brio. The car is 3610mm where others competitors are come with 3750mm to 3900mm. B segment Brio is too small where Honda is try to cut the cost. Quality of the interior is good not too much well finished. Draw back is no automatic AC, head rest is fixed in rear seat, no driver seat height adjust, Audio without CD, no wiper in back, no tilt Steering wheel in all segment , no 60/40 split folding rear seat, no parcel tray (buy extra). But you will get wooden finish (extra cost) interior which is very attractive. Rear door is short in length but it’s still ok to entry. Rear door hand rest is small and rear window view is small compare to others. Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good powerful engine but its need some improvement in engine torque. Engine is very much smooth in low rpm and its take smooth pickup when the AC is on. You will feel ignorable engine noise in high rpm but its smooth power when the AC is still on. Gearbox, very soft and you can change gears with 1 finger. It’s new in market so after 6 months the reviews will clear its actual Fuel performance. Ride Quality and Handling The car is very stable in high speed. The steering is impressive on its performance. Brake works good. Suspension is ok but need to improve for bad feeling road & comfort in rear seat. Tyers size is ok and it takes grip on the road very quickly Final Words It is spacious, comfortable, looks good, has a fabulous engine and should deliver class-matching fuel economy. Its 1.2 petrol engine delivers positively sprightly performance and its compact dimensions are ideal for city traffic. Areas of improvement 1. Need more in length like 3800mm. 2. automatic AC 3. adjustable head rest 4. Driver seat height adjust 5. Audio with CD 6. Wiper in back, 7. Tilt Steering wheel in all segment 8. 60/40 split folding rear seat
